WHAT IS BLUEBIRDRP?

BlueBirdRP is one of Australia's largest GTA V FiveM Roleplay servers!

It is themed around the Australian state of Victoria and it's main city Melbourne

The server has many options for people to pursue:

• You can live the life of a general civilian through all of our legal jobs, including:
  • Arm-a-Guard Truck Driver
  • Fisherman
  • Fuel Delivery Driver
  • Pizza Delivery Driver
  • Lumber jack
  • Pool cleaner
  • Post Officer Worker
  • Cow Milker
  • Miner
  • Oil refiner
  • Tailor
  • Taxi/Ride Share Driver
  • Garbage Truck Driver
  • Chicken catcher
  • Butcher
• If you prove yourself to be a positive member of the community you may be hired into some of the whitelisted jobs such as:
  • Mechanic
  • Prison Guard
  • Police Officer
  • Paramedic
  • Fire Fighter
  • Car Dealer
  • Restaurant Employee
  • Bar Employee
  • If you excel in these fields you may one day even be able to run your own business!
• Legal life not your speed? Try a life of crime by:
  • Robbing:
    • Stores
    • Houses
    • Banks
    • Arm-a-guard trucks
  • Growing and selling illicit substances.
  • Selling illegal items to other players or NPCs for monetary gains.
  • Money laundering to washing traced money in order to obtain clean money.
  • Engaging in a high stakes heist!
  • Boosting cars for a Dodgy employer
  • Apply to start an illegal group with other players your character has met who have likeminded ideas, ranging from:
    • Crew (5-7 players)
    • Crew+ (7-10 players)
    • Organisation (10-30 players)

If you are new to roleplay we suggest starting with what you know. Live a legal life until you understand how the server works.

There is nothing worse than someone who doesn't even know the controls of the server attempting to perform a bank heist.

You'll find out quickly that the Police force on the server have a job to do and if you aren't able to do what you need to to get away, you'll be in prison very quickly.

If you have any questions about how the server works, do not ask in game as we need people to stay in character at all times so everyone can have the best experience possible.

We have a channel on the Discord for all questions regarding server controls and general enquiries.

Keep in mind there will be some things you need to find out in roleplay.

Some examples of questions that won't be answered out of game include:

• Where is [insert location of something in game]?
• What is the best way to join an crew/crew+/org?
• What is the best way to make money?

These kinds of things are questions you should ask people in game, but know, that they don't have to answer you.

Roleplay is supposed to be journey of discovery.

The question above of "best way to make money" is one that you shouldn't be asking.

You don't need money to roleplay, having more than someone else doesn't change what roleplay is supposed to be.

Focus on having fun and helping others have fun as well and the money will come.

There are so many more things the server has to offer than what has been listed. It is now your job to find them.

CONNECTING TO THE SERVER

Before you attempt to connect to any FiveM server you must do the following:

• Own a legal copy of GTA V on Stream, Rockstar Games Launcher or Epic Games Launcher.
• Install and Update your GTA V to the latest version.
  • It is good to keep your GTA V on the latest version so that you can join any server and you will be ready if we update our server build.
• Download the FiveM client from the CFX website here: https://fivem.net/
  • The client will prompt you to find your GTAV.exe. That will be located in different places depending on how you have set up your GTAV
    • To find your exe for Steam:
      • Open Steam
      • Navigate to Library
      • Right Click on Grand Theft Auto V in your games list
      • Select properties
      • Click Installed Files
      • Click Browse. That will open a file explorer.
      • Copy the file path at the top of the window and paste it in your FiveM client prompt for the .exe location
    • To find your exe for Epic Games Launcher:
      • Open Epic Games Launcher
      • Navigate to Library
      • Right Click on Grand Theft Auto V in your games list
      • Select manage
      • Click the folder icon next to the large "UNINSTALL" button. That will open a file explorer.
      • Copy the file path at the top of the window and paste it in your FiveM client prompt for the .exe location
    • To find your exe for Rockstar Games Launcher:
      • Open Rockstar Games Launcher
      • Navigate to Settings
      • Left Click on Grand Theft Auto V under "My installed games"
      • Look for "view installation folder"
      • Click open. That will open a file explorer.
      • Copy the file path at the top of the window and paste it in your FiveM client prompt for the .exe location
• Once you have successfully installed FiveM open the Discord Desktop app on the same PC you are running FiveM on
  • If you do not have the Discord desktop app you can download it here: https://discord.com/
  • Once you have the app installed, open and you are signed into the account you wish to use you will need to join our Discord to gain access to the FiveM server
    • Our Discord can be joined by clicking this link https://discord.gg/BlueBird
    • Once in the Discord you will need to read over the BlueBirdRP #community-guidelines channel.
    • Once you have read and agree to the guidelines you can move onto the #verify-channelwhere it will ask you to change your Discord Nickname for our server to follow this layout
      • First Name Last Name [CFX/Steam/Epic/Rockstar Username]
      • Example: Adrian Benedict [ScarAus]
      • This will allow us to identify you in game and on Discord if we need to assist you.
      • Don't worry if you aren't sure what you want to name your roleplay character yet, you can put a placeholder in and change it again later once you've settled on a name.
    • After setting up your Discord Nickname you will have to react to the top post in that channel with the BBRP logo. It should be the only reaction to choose from on the post.
• Now open FiveM
  • Click the Play button in the top right.
  • Type BlueBird into the search bar and you should see a few servers.
  • Select the BlueBirdRP server that has the Australian flag with the description "BlueBird Australian Roleplay Server join us at discord.gg/bluebird" (it will likely  be the BlueBird server with the most players on it from the list)
  • Make sure to favourite the server so you can find it more easily in future.
